The Joke, the Chase, and the Tickle Torture

It was a ordinary day in the Feudal Era. The gang was staying with Kaede for a couple days. Kagome had insisted that they take a break from sacred jewel hunting for a few days. At first Inuyasha didn't want to but Kagome was able to convince him with a little acting. Kaede asked how she had gotten him to actually take a break so she told her the story.

FLASHBACK

"Inuyasha, come here for a sec." Kagome said to Inuyasha.

"What Kagome?"  

"Inuyasha, can we please go back to Kaede's house and stay there for a few days? I just want to take a break from all this searching, I think we could all use a break." Kagome said with her the most innocent voice she could muster.

"No." Inuyasha said plainly.

"But-"

"I said no"

Kagome was starting to get mad, 'I could always say sit, but I would like him to say yes without being forced to. Well, I guess its time for plan B.' She turned around and sat and then she started to fake cry.

"Ka-Kagome." Inuyasha was surprised by her actions. He expected her to say sit, not start crying! He bent down behind her and started to speak. "Ka-", then was cut off by the crying girl.

"I should've.... known that you.... wouldn't understand. I can't believe I expected you to actually think about my needs! I need breaks every once and a while. Not everyone has super strength you know!"

Inuyasha was speechless, it took a couple seconds to take in what she had just said, but when he did he realized that she was right. He didn't think about if she was being pushed to far, then he started to feel really guilty.

While he was thinking all this, Kagome had took her crying up a notch. She was crying and coughing severely. Inuyasha noticed this and was starting to worry. 'Maybe we could use a break' Inuyasha thought. Then he gave in, he put his arms around her and said, "I'm sorry Kagome, we can go to Kaede's place for a bit, please forgive me, and I promise from now on I will keep in mind that you, and the rest off the gang, have needs too. Do you forgive me?"

Kagome was still crying, but in her mind she was extremely happy. 'I cant believe it went this well! I was only trying to get him to say yes, but not only did he say yes but he also promised to think of our needs too. I killed two birds with one stone!' She turned around and hugged him. " I forgive you, and thank you, you have no idea how much what you just said means to me!"

They stayed in that hug for a couple seconds. "I'll go tell the others." Actually the others had been watching the whole time, and Kagome knew that, but she wanted to get going as soon as possible.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Ohh, that was a good idea!" Kaede said to Kagome.

"Thanks, I am going to go outside for a bit."

"okay."

Kagome walked outside and looked for the others. Soon she found them and she asked what they were doing. "We were talking about how past enemies would look in funny clothing." Answered Sango.

"Sweet." She sat down next to Inuyasha. (A/N-They are in a circle)

"How about Miroku in a bunny suit?" Sango snickered. Everyone except Miroku laughed.

"Hey! Were are talking about enemies not me!" Miroku blushed.

"No Sango, I got something better, Inuyasha dressed in this." Kagome pointed her school uniform. This time everyone laughed except Inuyasha. Kagome then stood up and started doing a impersonation of Inuyasha. "Hi, I'm Inuyasha, and I like to dance like a fairy princess and I like to wear girls clothes!" She copied in his voice.

Sango stood up and did a impersonation of Miroku. "Hi, I'm Miroku, and I'm a little bunny and I love to go hop, hop, hop." She mocked the monk. Walking over to Kagome, who had put two leafs in her hair that resembled Inuyasha's ears and was now dancing like a little girl, the two made fun of the boys the best they could.

Shippo was laughing so hard that his side started hurting, and in the distance Kaede was laughing too.

Both Inuyasha and Miroku were blushing and had that little nerve thing that anime people get when they are annoyed. They also had that look that said 'I'm getting really mad'. Kagome and Sango noticed and quickly ran off into the woods.

Inuyasha sighed and stood up. "They are SO going to pay for that! You with me?"

"Yeah, and I have the perfect idea." Miroku grinned.

"What's that?"

"Well, since we can't hurt them, let's knock them out, bring them back here, tie them down, and tickle them until we feel like they have had enough." He explained.

"I like it, but how do we knock them out?"

Miroku went to his bag and pulled out a bottle of chloroform and a rag. "We'll use this to knock them out. Just make them inhale it and they're done. Short and simple."

"That is a great idea, let's do it!" Inuyasha shouted.

"Great." He gave Inuyasha a drug-dampened cloth.

"Alright, I think we're good then. Let's go!" Inuyasha and Miroku took off into the woods.

"Did you see the look on their faces!?!" Kagome laughed.

"Yeah, it was priceless! I don't care what the revenge was, it was worth it! Sango exclaimed.

Kagome grinned. "Yeah, but whats the worst they could do, I mean they won't hurt us, so I'm sure it wont be that bad."  

"You're right, but we should still try to get as far away from them as possible, knowing those two they will think of SOMETHING." Sango groaned.

"Agreed, so for now onward and forward!" Kagome exclaimed and the two kept on running.

"Miroku, how about we tease them a bit." Inuyasha smirked.

"How so?" Miroku asked.

"Like this, KAGOOMMEE, SAANNGGOO WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!" Inuyasha shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Ohhhhh, I get it, YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CANT HIDE!"

"Do they really think they can get away?!" Miroku smiled.

"If they do they are wrong, their scents stick out like sore thumbs. They are close."

Miroku looked up at the darkened sky. "Okay, well just let me know-."

"Miroku, stop!" Inuyasha hushed pulling him behind a tree.

"What?" Miroku asked.

"Look! There they are!" Inuyasha pointed ahead of them, and surely enough there was Kagome and Sango leaning against a tree catching their breath.

"I see them, listen they are talking!"

Kagome and sango were breathing too hard to realize that the guys were watching them. "We…will…catch…our breath…and then…continue." Kagome panted.

"Gotchya…Kagome" Sango barely replied.

"This is what we'll do. Split them up, then you go after Sango and I will go after Kagome, got it?" Inuyasha whispered to his partner in crime.

"Yeah."

Inuyasha smirked. "Also while we're at it, let's give them a run for their money."

Miroku grinned with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Oh don't worry, I plan on it."

"Alright then, on the count of three." The white-haired boy whispered, "One..Two...THREE!"

"What's that sound?" Kagome turned around only to find the boys running straight for them.

"RUN!" Sango shouted.

The chase began. Before long, the girls split up. The two assailants went after their assigned pray.

Inuyasha took to the trees and began toying with Kagome's head. "Kagome, oh dear, dear Kagome. There is no point in running..." Inuyasha let out a deep laugh. "And don't you dare yell sit, because if you do the punishment will only be so much worse."

Kagome's eyes went wide. She hadn't prepared herself for this! Shaking her head, her legs pushed on faster.

He laughed once again. "I can even smell your fear. You know it would be so much easier to just give up, wouldn't it?" Inuyasha teased.

"Stop trying to mess with my head Inuyasha!" Kagome shouted, wanting to cover her ears.

"But why? It's SOO much fun." He paused. "You should see yourself. Panting and wheezing, you won't last much longer."

"Inuyasha, stop playing mind tricks, now!" Kagome yelled, getting more scared by the minute.

All of a sudden inuyasha was right in front of her with an evil look on his face. "Fine, we'll cut to the chase then, shall we?"

Kagome was caught off guard and went skidding into Inuyasha. He wrapped his arms around her and easily brought her down to the ground. "let go!!" Kagome struggled against his strong grip.

He grabbed the cloth from his robe and put his hand over Kagome's mouth and the cloth under her nose. "Shh, you need to relax."

"Hey-!" Kagome started but then she felt herself getting weaker. 'Whats happening!' She thought as she getting weaker and weaker.

Inuyasha felt her resistance wither away until she was completely asleep. He picked her up and went to meet up with his partner.

Miroku forgot about the scaring them part and just knocked Sango out. (A/N- In other words, the author isn't well versed with that pair, so she decided not to chance butchering it) The two soon met up and started heading back towards where they were before they went into the woods.

After 30 minutes they were back out of the woods. They laid the girls on the ground and began the next phase of their plan. After they got everything they took them in the woods to a clearing that they passed on the chase so that the laughter wouldn't disturb anyone. When they reached the clearing they tied them to two separate boards.
"Good, they both won't be able to get free with these knots." Miroku boasted tugging at the rope.

"Yeah, I agree. So how long until they wake up?"

"It shouldn't take that much longer." Mikoru replied. His prediction proved right as in the next few minutes the captives began to wake.

The girls moaned. "Where are we Sango?" Kagome mumbled.

"I don't know." She answered.

Kagome tried to move her arm and realized the reality of their situation. "Oh my gosh, we're tied up!"

Sango tried to move and came to the same conclusion. "How did this happen?!"

"I don't know. Last thing I remember...I was blacking out with Inuyasha!"

"That's what happened with the monk!"

Dark laughs resonated from the trees. "Very good." Mikoru grinned.

"But I'm afraid you're too little too late." Inuyasha added.

"Let us go!" They demanded.

"I really don't think you're in a very good position to be making demands girls, and I would start being nicer..because if not we won't go easy on you." The half-demon daunted.

Their eyes widened and both were beginning to worry.

"Oh are we frightening you? Poor little humans, the scent of fear comes so fresh off of you." Inuyasha beamed.

Kagome furrowed her brow. "What?! I'm not scared!"

In a flash Inuyasha was sitting right next to Kagome with his face above hers, making her flinch and attempt to pull back; in which the board stopped her. He hovered above her with a smirk. "Are you sure about that?" He was met with silence. "That's what I thought."

He stood back up and walked a couple feet back. "Miroku why don't you explain what we are about to do since this was YOUR idea?" Inuyasha suggested, indirectly putting the blame on him for any payback.

"Thank you Inuyasha, I will. You guys probably already thought about the fact that we can't hurt you, being the gentlemen we are, and that part is true. However, we came up with something that is just as effective. You see, there is a very effective method of torment called tickle torture."

Inuyasha and Miroku were happy to see that the girls' looks of fright increased. "I'm not ticklish!" Kagome bluffed.

"Ohh really? Well then you won't mind if I do...this?" Inuyasha walked over to Kagome and took her shoe off, then stroked her foot with a single claw. He was delighted to see her foot twitch and to hear via his heightened hearing a muffled laugh. "Not ticklish eh? You really should work on your lying."

Kagome rolled her eyes. "Ok, maybe I was lying, but I'm really sorry! We promise we won't make fun of you like that ever again!"

"Oh it's too late for that. Come on Mikoru, let's get started."

Inuyasha walked over to Kagome's feet and took her socks off. Then he very lightly stroked her right foot with a single claw. Kagome tried to hold back the laughter but she couldn't and she started giggling and then started laughing like crazy.

Mikoru went up to Sango and traced under her toes and around her foot. Both girls were hysterical. They plead and plead for them to stop, but they were relentless. The boys had found each girls most ticklish foot spot and wouldn't let up on it.

After about five minutes of nonstop tickling they stopped and let them catch their breath. Both Kagome's and Sango's faces were deep read and dripping with tears and sweat.

"I think they've had enough foot tickling, let's see were else they are ticklish Miroku." Inuyasha told him.

"Ok, but first lets give them a few minutes to recover, we don't want them to black out." Miroku advised.

They got up and stretched. Inuyasha went over to a tree and grabbed a bucket of water and a cloth. He went over to Kagome and with the dampened cloth wiped her face off. Then he gave her some water to drink, which she took greedily. Her throat burned after all the laughing.

Mikoru was having difficulty with Sango who was being stubborn. Eventually though she let him and reluctantly drank the water. After another couple minutes, they were ready to start again. "Ok torture time." Miroku chanted.

Inuyasha nodded then went back up to the tied down girl. "Let us see, I think I'll try your...stomach" He taunted and lifted up her shirt, then traced a claw over her tummy. She giggled and squirmed, then started laughing like crazy again when he ran his claws over her sides.

Through the hyena-like laughter, Kagome begged him to stop. "No way! This is too much fun! Plus this is payback for all those times you "Sat" me!" He kept on tickling her, digging into her sides. "What's wrong? Can the all high-and-mighty Kagome not handle some harmless tickling?" He teased.

Sango's laughs mixed with her fellow captive's. Difference was, her stomach seemed way more ticklish than Kagome's. She jerked around and tried with all of her strength to break the rope, but to no avail. Her pleas came few and far between the hysterics.

"Oh poor Sango, maybe you'll think twice before you slap me next time!" He dug into her sides and continued on.

Five more minutes passed and they decided enough was enough. So they stopped and untied them. When Inuyasha was done untying Kagome he told her in his now-normal voice, "Wow, kagome I didn't know you were so ticklish, you too Sango. Well with that all done we should get back to Kaede's place. Oh and Kagome, no hard feelings right?"

Kagome weakly stood up and stumbled for balance as she glared at Inuyasha with piercing eyes. "All I have to say is...you better watch your back.." With that she finally fainted.

Inuyasha caught her and carried her bridal style. "I think we wore them out a little too much."

Sango also stood up with very shaky knees and glared at Mikoru with the intensity of a thousand suns. "You're no different Mr. M-M-..." She fainted before she could finish. He caught her and carried her gently.  

"I guess this break turned out to be fun after all." Inuyasha let out a hearty laugh. With a smile, he and Mikoru brought themselves and the girls back to Kaede's. They tucked them into their beds then left them to sleep. Without hesitation they too turned in.

That night would be one to remember of laughter and new-found blackmail.
